WWE News: Triple H Reveals Paul Heyman Working Very Closely On Development Of Fast Rising WWE Star

It seems that wrestling legend Paul Heyman has taken on an added role in WWE to help develop and mentor one of the company’s fastest rising stars.

There have been many creative individuals who have worked in the professional wrestling industry. While Vince McMahon is viewed as the most influential, not far behind is ECW founder Paul Heyman. The man once known as Paul E. Dangerously in WCW revolutionized the industry with the ECW product. However, he has had an even bigger role over the last two decades in WWE.

During his stint in the top promotion in the business, he has served as a commentator. Was the head writer for Smackdown during the Ruthless Aggression era, and of course has been a manager for legends like Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Roman Reigns. He has also had a massive influence on the biggest storyline of the last decade, the Bloodline saga.

That is why it should come as no surprise that current head of creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque leans on Heyman for his advice and knowledge. However, it seems that the multi-time WWE champion has also assigned “The Wiseman” a very important role recently.

Paul Heyman is working closely on the development of Bron Breakker

“Paul was a genius in ECW of hiding people’s flaws and showing their strengths. Even if that strength was just an entrance,” Triple H told the Hollywood Reporter this week.

That is why the WWE CCO revealed he has had Paul Heyman working with a specific talent they have high expectations: Bron Breakker.

“He’s a young guy, incredibly athletic, great character, he’s a sponge,” Triple said. “I have Heyman spend a lot of time with him to help develop him with his promos. To help develop his character, to help push him in a direction. Then Paul talks to me and talks to the writers about where do we want to take that, and then he’s the conduit for where we want to go to that talent.”

Breakker is the son of WWE Hall-of-Famer and WCW legend Rick Steiner. He was a talent that was pushed heavily in NXT and that has continued on the main roster. Clearly, the company has big hopes for him if they have Heyman working with him directly on his growth.
