WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella surprised many and returned to the ring for the 2025 Royal Rumble. It was her first match since 2022. In a post-match interview with Jackie Redmond, Bella talked about her comeback, and how she realized she had never lost her wrestling instincts.
“It’s crazy. The crowd just gets you right back into who you are out there. What I sometimes have to be careful of is that I almost want to go into ultimate heel Nikki mode because it’s where I thrive,” Bella said. “It gives me very Bambi vibes. You try not to get emotional because it’s been so long. I love my WWE Universe family. I love my family back here.”

However, during a new edition of the Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella said her return won’t be one-and-done and she is hoping for some sisterly backup.

“Is this a one-off or is she here to stay? Keep tuning in,” Bella said. “You will see another ‘Fearless’ Nikki appearance, sooner than later, that is for sure. I’m definitely doing more than what I just did on Saturday. Hopefully, Brie Mode will be by my side soon. More on that to come.”
Speculation has been swirling over whether Brie Bella—who retired in 2019 before making a brief comeback in 2022—would return to WWE recently. In a recent interview, she explained how hard it was to completely step away from the ring, but without officially confirming the rumors.
“We’ll see. The wrestling ring has always been our home,” she said about her strong connection to WWE. And if WWE calls, it’s always hard to say no,” she said.
