With Pat McAfee temporarily out of the announce team equation, a new report has revealed the new lineup that will be calling matches for WWE Monday Night Raw and Smackdown over the next few months.
Pat McAfee has become a beloved part of WWE broadcasts on Monday nights. The uber-popular podcaster brings a fresh approach to televised shows, as he unleashes his passion and love for the company’s product during episodes of WWE Monday Night Raw.

However, McAfee’s brand is in high demand, and along with his work for WWE he also serves as one of the pre-game analysts on ESPN’s flagship Saturday football show “College Game Day.” Well, the new college football season began this past weekend and it means the company must again fill the void at the announce table.
A hint of that was revealed on this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw when Corey Graves joined Michael Cole for the broadcast. However, on Tuesday, Sports Business Journal revealed that the duo will not remain on Raw. When Smackdown moves to the USA network on Sept. 13, they will be calling the action for the blue brand.
Joe Tessitore to make debut on Sept. 2 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw
What does that mean for Raw? That announce team will see a major shakeup on Sept. 2 as veteran ESPN announcer Joe Tessitore will make his company debut alongside former Smackdown announcer and WWE veteran Wade Barrett.
But even those pairings will get changed later in the year. In January, when the company begins its $5 billion deal to have WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix, McAfee will return and again team up with Cole to call the action for the flagship show.
It likely means that Tessitore, who signed with WWE earlier this year to replace former play-by-play voice Kevin Patrick, will move to Smackdown and be paired with Graves, and/or Barrett.
