TNA Slammiversary is set up to be one of the company’s biggest cards of all time. And it will officially include the return of TNA Wrestling icon AJ Styles. However, a new rumor from Wrestle Votes claimed he won’t be the only WWE main roster star to appear at the event inside New York’s UBS Arena.
With that in mind, let’s look at seven WWE main roster talents who could make a special appearance at TNA Slammiversary on Sunday night.
Drew McIntyre

After Drew McIntyre was fired from WWE in 2014, TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling played a major role in rebuilding his career. He became a top star during his two stints in the promotion. And increased his value to the point where WWE could not deny his talent and brought him back in 2017. The multi-time WWE champ likes to be edgy, and making a surprise appearance at Slammiversary fits his character.
Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio had a short run in NXT while on the main roster. And has said publicly he would like to do appearances in AAA following its acquisition by WWE. Showing up at TNA Slammiversary would also fit his character. Furthermore, it would be a great way to add to his ongoing feud with Styles. Since he will also be at the event.
Naomi

When Naomi gambled on her value and was let go by WWE three years ago, TNA became her new home. She would go on to become one of the faces of the Knockouts division and prove her value so much that, like McIntyre, WWE brought her back last year. She would also be a sensible option to show up at Sunday’s event.
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh

Late last year, there were rumblings the Hardys could make WWE main roster appearances following some matches in NXT. Maybe that gets set up this weekend? With SummerSlam a few weeks away, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh showed up at TNA Slammiversary to begin a feud with the WWE legends and set up a match at SummerSlam.
Motor City Machine Guns

One of the most logical and fitting options for an appearance at TNA Slammiversary would be the Motor City Machine Guns. They are the greatest tag team in company history, and also had outstanding singles runs in the promotion as well. With AJ Styles making his long-awaited return, the Machine Guns showing up at the big event just feels right.
