WWE Legend Mick Foley Reveals His Hardest Hitting Opponent, And Surprisingly It Wasn’t Kane Or The Undertaker

During a recent episode of “WWE Vault,” Hall-of-Famer Mick Foley revealed who was his hardest-hitting opponent. And surprisingly it was not powerful long-time rivals Kane or The Undertaker.

Mick Foley is one of the most beloved figures in wrestling history. While the man once known as Cactus Jack is a lovable character with a great sense of humor, his history of taking death-defying risks and competing in violent matches made him a hardcore legend.

The WWE great competed in barbed wire matches, death matches, boiler room brawls, and took the infamous Hell in a Cell to new heights. He also often competed against some of the roughest, toughest, and largest wrestlers the industry has ever seen. Men like Big Show, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, and The Undertaker.

However, one particular former foe always stands out above the rest for Foley. Especially in terms of how hard they hit him during their matches.

“When I’m asked by fans who was the hardest-hitting competitor I’d ever shared a ring with, I don’t even have to think about it. It was Vader,” Foley said during a September episode of “WWE Vault.” “It jogs your brain. It really does. Nobody brought it the way that Vader did, and there were those who did not like to work that style, and I did. I liked working with Vader because his size made me such an underdog.”

The WCW and NJPW legend was a major star during the late 1980s and the first half of the 90s. Many wrestlers who worked with him praised his toughness, as well as how athletic he was for a man of his size. And with that size and toughness also came a hard-hitting style that was not for the weak at heart.
