Despite having fantastic showings in 2024, current WWE women’s champions Liv Morgan and Nia Jax were both left out of the latest PWI women’s top 10 rankings.
Liv Morgan and Nia Jax have been featured parts of both WWE Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for months. And oddly enough, they are on a collision course to a shown down for the new Crown Jewel title early next month.

It is another peak moment for a pair of performers that have thrived this year. Morgan’s “Revenge Tour” against Rhea Ripley has been one of the best stories on WWE television over the last six months. She has evolved from a talented wrestler to a complete package as she’s expanded her character in unexpected ways.
The same could be said for Jax. She was always an entertaining part of the women’s division. But her ring work was always questioned. However, in her second run in the promotion, the slimmed-down version of Jax has improved greatly in the squared circle and has also developed into a complete package as a performer.
Yet that growth for both women was not enough for the latest Pro Wrestling Illustrated 250.
Liv Morgan and Nia Jax shutout of the latest PWI top 10
PWI’s yearly list of the best wrestlers in the world is a big deal within the industry. On par with match ratings from Wrestling Observer legend Dave Meltzer. And on Tuesday the wrestling news outlet revealed the top 10 in their new rankings of the 250 best female wrestlers in 2024.
Unfortunately, both Liv Morgan and Nia Jax were surprisingly not included in the top 10. Oddly enough, despite WWE being on a serious hot streak over the last year, only two veteran talents from the company landed in the top 10. Those are Rhea Ripley and Bayley.
