WWE made a game-changing announcement on the December 6th edition of SmackDown. For the first time, the company will have a transfer window, very much similar to football. As RAW moves to Netflix in January 2025, Michael Cole announced that a lot of changes would be incorporated.
Cole revealed that multiple superstars from all three brands, RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, will switch rosters, and a fresh line-up will be in place. With major changes incoming, here are 10 WWE superstars who could switch brands in the transfer window.

10. American Made to SmackDown
As the December 6th edition of SmackDown began, Chad Gable revealed his intentions for coming to the show. He, alongside the American Made, came to speak to Nick Aldis regarding the transfer window. This could give him the possibility to switch to SmackDown as the window would open. Moreover, it could be the start of a new tenure for Gable and his faction.
9. Bianca Belair to RAW
Bianca Belair has spent the majority of her career on SmackDown. With her partner Jade Cargill out of action, Belair could once again begin her singles run. This could see the current WWE Women’s tag team Champion head to RAW in the transfer window. Belair could begin a new run with RAW on Netflix with multiple new opportunities.
8. Meta Four to SmackDown
Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson have been making waves with sporadic appearances on the main roster for a few months. The NXT standouts could be called up full-time to the main roster as part of the transfer window. In the process, they can find themselves as a part of SmackDown, where they have made multiple appearances already. This could be the big push Meta Four has been looking for to take their career to the next level.
7. Dominik Mysterio to SmackDown
In a backstage moment that many fans missed, RAW’s Dominik Mysterio was seen talking to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis this week. This came right after the announcement of the transfer window. Ever since he started as a member of Judgment Day, Dominik has been majorly on RAW. He could utilise this opportunity to begin a fresh run on SmackDown following the opening of the transfer window.

6. Trick Williams to RAW
Trick Williams has emerged as one of the most popular stars in WWE NXT today. The two-time NXT champion has seemingly achieved everything in the developmental territory. Moreover, Netflix each week could hear the ‘Whoop That Trick’ chants that captivate the fans like no other.
5. Roxanne Perez to SmackDown
Roxanne Perez has proven her worth as a dominant champion in NXT. She has outlasted top stars like Giulia, Jordynne Grace, Lola Vice, and others. Seeing her run, Perez could switch rosters and head to SmackDown using the transfer window. The Prodigy could begin her main roster run next year and work to replicate the same dominance she did in NXT for the last year.
4. CM Punk to SmackDown
CM Punk chose to sign with RAW following his return to WWE last year. However, he has made some appearances on SmackDown during that time. The Best in the World, in hopes of exploring new opportunities and rivalries, can land up on SmackDown using the transfer window. He could be positioned to be the face of the brand, giving a chance to other top stars on the blue brand to head over to RAW.
3. Gunther to SmackDown
The reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, made a surprise appearance on SmackDown this week. He was spotted outside Nick Aldis’ office in conversation with him. This led to speculation that the Ring General could be a top pick for Nick Aldis to pursue in the transfer window. With Gunther having conquered RAW, SmackDown could be his new land of dominance.
2. Cody Rhodes to RAW
If Gunther does make the switch to SmackDown, one thing makes absolute sense. The current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes could head over to RAW. The current golden goose of WWE could be a major addition to the star power on RAW coming to Netflix. This could lead to new rivalries and classic feuds that the fans would see on Netflix, with Rhodes at the forefront of it.
1. Roman Reigns to RAW
Roman Reigns is undoubtedly one of the biggest draws of WWE’s modern era. Moreover, there had been previous reports that Netflix is very much interested in adding Reigns star power to RAW following its move in January 2025. With Reigns having done almost everything on SmackDown for the last four years, a move to RAW could be the best direction for The OTC.
