It will end up being a big couple weeks for WWE’s youngest televised brand. NXT wrapped up it’s run on the USA Network with a final show last week. As the farewell edition of NXT on USA was in its last few minutes, things were getting a bit tight. It was a big moment, for sure. It is one challenge of running a live show. You know roughly how long something should go, but it’s almost never an exact figure. Take a look at most major professional sports as an example. Those games may often take three hours, but some can finish faster while others take longer. Pro wrestling shows, for the most part, are given a set time to run. Matches are planned out to have a set time each, so that the company can get everything done within time. Except, things don’t always go to script, and sometimes things happen and there are time issues. It’s unclear exactly what contributed to the NXT issues, but Fightful did confirm that we nearly saw that last NXT show on USA pulled in the middle of a major event for the women’s division.
