The Royal Rumble event is one of the most-awaited and thrilling experiences for the WWE Universe each year. Will Kurt Angle compete in the 2025 Royal Rumble match?
In a recent interview with Great Offshore Sportsbooks, WWE legend Kurt Angle confirmed that he is going for the Royal Rumble 2025 event for an appearance. However, chances are slim he actually competes in the match.
“I am going there for an appearance. I might stay. It’d be kind of nice to do so, but I have a family. I have a bunch of kids, and I have an obligation at home. So we’ll see if I can stick around for an extra day.”
Kurt Angle has been a part of a few Royal Rumble matches during his WWE tenure but never walked away as the winner. In the same interview, the former WWE Champion stated that he would have won the Royal Rumble had he stayed longer in WWE. Angle left the company in 2006 due to his health issues and joined TNA, becoming a top fixture for them for eleven years.
“I only went to WWE for six years. And then I left and went somewhere else for 11. So if I would have stayed, I think I would have ended up winning the Royal Rumble,” said Angle.
