WWE News: Kevin Owens Reveals Uncertainty About Return to Wrestling After Serious Neck Injury

Kevin Owens‘ thriving WWE career suffered a huge setback following the announcement of his injury. To make matters worse, a disappointing update might have hinted at the end of his wrestling career.

In a recent interview with Bernard Colas for le10Sport, Owens provided the latest on his scheduled neck surgery. The former WWE Universal Champion revealed that he had still not undergone his operation. He made it clear that a lot of consideration had to be given before undergoing the procedure.

“It’s a very slow process. I still haven’t had the operation. There are lots of things to consider before the operation,” said Owens. “We wait a little bit to see how things are going to evolve naturally. There’s no doubt that I need an operation, but before we do the surgery, we just need to see how well it can… not to recover, because it won’t get well, but slightly improve without surgery. “

Furthermore, Owens stated that it was a slow process, but he had no choice but to wait. Moreover, he was also uncertain about returning to the ring given the current condition.

“Thereafter, we will be able to make a plan and decide what is the best thing to do for the operation. But it’s a very slow process. You just have to have patience,” he said. “I don’t usually have a lot of patience, but here I have no choice. It would be wrong to be able to tell you right now that I’m definitely going to come back to the ring.”

Kevin Owens had competed in some of the most physically demanding matches in WWE since 2024. While Owens captivated the fans every night, his body now had to pay the price. On the road to WrestleMania 41, he was scheduled to battle Randy Orton at the show. However, weeks before, Owens announced his neck surgery to the world.

This ruled him out of the grand spectacle and competing inside the square circle for the foreseeable future. With Kevin Owens still not having undergone his surgery, his wrestling future remains uncertain at the moment.
