WWE legend Kevin Owens offered a strong response yo recent criticism from former coworker Matt Riddle about being hard to work with.
Owens has been in WWE for many years. In that span of time, he has worked with countless talented WWE superstars. One of them os former tag champ Matt Riddle.
“The Original Bro” was a popular and captivating WWE superstar of this era. However, his career in the company came to an end in 2023 after various missteps outside the ring.

Kevin Owens calls Matt Riddle a screw up?

In a conversation with Robbie Fox on his “My Mom’s Basement” podcast Owens responded to Riddle’s comments with some very strong thoughts of the current MLW star.
“It didn’t take me by surprise,” he began by saying. “I did see it. It’s funny because coming from him, I have nothing against him at all. He’s a guy who had really amazing opportunities handed to him like being Randy’s tag team partner for so long and basically getting to ride the coattails of a legend, and he managed to screw it all up.
“Not because of his abilities, because he’s very talented and very athletic, but because of his own attitude and poor poor choices.”
Furthermore, Kevin Owens put the conversation to rest by highlighting the fact that his and Sami Zayn’s career in WWE has been far more accomplished than Matt Riddle.
“For him to say we’re hard to work with or whatever, he couldn’t get a word in, there is a pretty good reason for that. You look at his track record and you look at our track record, that speaks for itself. If that’s how he felt, it’s fine. I can’t say he’s wrong when he said it was hard to get a word in”, said Owens.
While Matt Riddle is making waves on the independent circuit, KO suffered a huge setback. He recently announced that his neck surgery had ruled him out of WrestleMania 41. So we will have to wait and see what the future holds for him as he steps away from the ring.
