Hall of Famer Guarantees His Son Will Be On WWE Roster In 3 Years

A WWE legend claims he expects his son to be the next second-generation talent to join the roster.

The WWE has been the dominant force in professional wrestling for the better part of the last 50 years. The company has taken the industry to places no one ever expected. To pay-per-view, stadiums, streaming services, and almost every nation on the planet.

To maintain that consistent success, the company must constantly replenish the roster. Interestingly enough, the company has hired the offspring of past performers and turned them into stars just like their parents, and in some cases, even more successful.

On the current roster, Roman Reigns, The Usos, Bron Breakker, Randy Orton, The Rock, Natalya, Dominik Mysterio, and Charlotte Flair are just a few examples of next-generation talent that have carried their family’s name into the next century.

Well, 2018 WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry wants fans to know they should expect to see his son Jacob in the company in the near future.

Mark Henry’s son Jacob to be the next second-generation star in WWE?

“Jacob did really well in wrestling this year as a freshman, but he is out there battling 25 and 27-year-olds. Guys that’ve been wrestling since they were nine years old,” Henry told Poker Scout over the weekend. “And his ultimate goal was to play football at the University of Oklahoma anyway, and that’s what he’s doing. And after his college career, he said, ‘Dad, I’m not really concerned with making the pros. If I do, then I just kinda gotta go do it. But my passion is wrestling, and I want to be a pro wrestler.’

“And I was like, ‘all right, we’ll start getting you trained.’ So, during the offseason, there are a couple of guys lined up that wanna put him through the paces. How long until we see him in the ring in WWE, do you reckon? I would think like three years before he was full-time.”

Mark Henry’s son is 6-foot and competes in the 285-pound division for Oklahoma. He seems to be as gifted an athlete as his father. That, matched with an amateur wrestling background, makes him a blue-chip prospect when he decides to transition to pro wrestling.
