Bill Goldberg clearly has still got it at an advanced age. And he proved it by cracking one of referee Charles Robinson’s ribs this past weekend.
On Saturday night, WWE Hall of Famer competed inside a wrestling ring for the final time. While he didn’t get a win over Gunther in the headliner of Saturday Night’s Main Event, the WCW icon got a good send-off in his adopted home of Atlanta.
In the match, a pair of his legendary spears went awry. One saw him run through the ringside barricade. The other featured him accidentally spearing fan-favorite ref Charles Robinson. Well, it seems that moment actually led to an injury to the 61-year-old official.

In a post on his Instagram, the veteran referee revealed an X-ray image of the injury. “Thanks @goldberg95! Never fear…I am ALL MAN and I can’t be kept down! I will return for WWE SmackDown next week in San Antonio!” Robinson wrote in the post caption.
While he is 58 years old, it seems the former WWE and WCW champion still hits very hard. It has been a very physical last few weeks for Robinson. At Night of Champions, he also took a nasty shoulder block from John Cena that sent the man once known as “Lil Natch” flying.
