It’s been a few months since she stepped away, but could Becky Lynch return to WWE soon?

WWE have generally been very active in re-signing talents. Presuming the company wants the talent to stick around, and the talent feel the same, it’s bound to happen. Already in 2024, Triple H and Nick Khan have been busy. Seth Rollins got himself a new deal. Drew McIntyre did too. CM Punk, not even back a year, was reportedly working on an extension of his own. More recently, Randy Orton and Sheamus are sticking around too.
Not everyone re-signs
There was said to be some interest from WWE in Ricochet, but he wanted to test out the AEW waters. But not everyone who doesn’t re-sign leaves the company. Becky Lynch was one of those unusual situations. The Man’s contract with WWE expired just over three months back. The company was said to have worked hard to extend her contract, but no deal was struck. For her part, reports from Becky Lynch indicated that she wasn’t really looking to leave and go to WWE. Rather, she acknowledged that she just wrapped up a very busy few years. Title reigns, a new daughter and a top selling book have seen her burn the candle at both ends. From that, it sure sounded like Lynch primarily wanted and needed an extended break.

Could that break be winding down? One source on social media seems to think so.
For my money, I think if she has not returned yet (and clearly she has not), there are but two compelling options for her. One would be the RAW debut on Netflix in 2025. Another would be a surprise entrant in the 2025 Royal Rumble. Neither of those would I classify as “soon”, but both would make worthy return moments. So, will Becky Lynch make a WWE return before the year ends?
