The American Nightmare had himself a big weekend in Philadelphia. He overcame Bloodline rules to finally finish his story and claim the world championship that had been eluding him and his father for years. He has already come out and said he has one regret from that post-WrestleMania celebration. What I had not yet heard him acknowledge were some of the highlights. After all, Rhodes (and Roman Reigns) took part in the night 2 main event of what many feel was legitimately the biggest WrestleMania main event ever. If it wasn’t quite that, it was certainly a top main event. It provided a lot of memories and highlights for fans, but what about the talent?

As you should know, the main event, thanks to the stipulation in place, got quite chaotic. Jimmy and Jey Uso got involved. So too did The Rock and Solo Sikoa. But we also enjoyed run-ins from John Cena and The Undertaker (because things didn’t work out for. Stone Cold). And in a recent interview with Jonathan Coachman, Cody shared what was his WrestleMania 40 highlight with Cena.

Nothing more, nothing said, just the former face of WWE looking at the new face of the company. Rhodes said it was just a momentary glance, nothing was said, yet it was a powerful interaction from a man he holds in high regard. It is surreal to think, in the middle of the ring surrounded by 75,000 screaming fans, a simple look could mean so much.
