At the moment, Chad Gable is in the best placement of his entire WWE career after re-signing at the last minute. He worked with Gunther and Sami Zayn, battling for the Intercontinental Championship for months. In the end, Gable never won the title and he turned heel in the process. Now, the Wyatt Sicks have set their attention on Gable and his new crew, The Creed Brothers.

When Gable created Alpha Academy, he started getting comparisons towards Kurt Angle. Gable does look like a young Angle, before his head was shaved bald. Also, he has a similar wrestling style and background. While speaking on the Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medalist went over how he loved Gable’s development. Although, Gable should not be compared to Angle. “He’s earned his own stripes,” said Angle. “I believe that he’s done enough of his own stuff that now he is labeled as Chad Gable. He’s no longer the next Kurt Angle. He’s Chad Gable, and he’s gonna show the whole world what he can do.”

Kurt Angle And Chad Gable Remain Plenty Busy

Since retiring, WWE has offered Kurt Angle several jobs. He has mostly turned all of them down. In particular, they wanted him to manage but he had no interest. He seems plenty busy with all his companies outside of pro wrestling.

Gable will likely wrestle Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) in the near future. It is clear the Wyatt Sicks are going after Gable for how he treated his former friends. If the storyline is a hit, it could see Gable further pushed. So, is Kurt Angle correct that Chade Gable can stand on his own without being associated with the WWE Hall of Famer?
