WWE Legend Wants Cody Rhodes To Give Violent Receipt To Travis Scott: ‘He Should Have His Jaw Shattered’

WWE Hall-of-Famer Bubba Ray Dudley believes Cody Rhodes needs to get a physical receipt after rapper Travis Scott allegedly injured him at Elimination Chamber 2025.

At this point, you had to have been in a bunker deep underground to have not heard about the shocking events of WWE Elimination Chamber. It was national news as WWE icon John Cena did the unthinkable and went to the dark side.

After WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes turned down an offer to be The Rock’s chosen champion, he was attacked by his WrestleMania 41 opponent, Cena. The moment revealed a new alliance between the two legends, and musician Travis Scott — who accompanied The Rock to the ring — was also a part of this evil alliance.

Scott also took part in the beatdown and landed a loud slap on Rhodes. Rumors spread this week that the stiff slap caused a busted eardrum to the WWE Champion. Well, WWE and ECW legend Bubba Ray Dudley believes the champ needs to go old school and get a receipt the next time he sees the rapper.

Bubba Ray Dudley wants Cody Rhodes to break Travis Scott’s jaw?

“Travis Scott deserves to have his jaw shattered and wired shut,” Dudley said on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio. “It’s when the mark in the ring all of a sudden decides he’s a pro wrestler and knows what the hell he’s doing. And that mark is Travis Scott. Because Travis Scott decided he’s going to look like some tough guy in front of the world? You got one coming, Travis. I hope it’s from Cody. If it’s not from him, I hope I never see you one day.”

There are many legendary stories in wrestling history of instances where one performer got too stiff with their strikes and moves and were given a “receipt.” The term is industry jargon for physical pay back from an overly painful strike or move.

It would be something if Cody Rhodes did get payback on Scott. But considering he is a huge celebrity, it is unlikely that a receipt will ever come.
