According to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio edition, Bronson Reed is expected to miss WrestleMania 41. Which takes place in Las Vegas next year. Reed suffered a devastating foot injury during the WarGames match at Survivor Series. Following the event, it was announced that Reed was set to undergo surgery on SmackDown.
“Bronson Reed is having foot surgery. He’s going to be out for months…I asked somebody there and he is not expected back for WrestleMania. It’s expected to be a long time,” the outlet reported.
Bronson Reed was part of Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline, competing against The OG Bloodline. The match was contested under the WarGames stipulation. The injury occurred as Bronson Reed executed the Tsunami from atop the WarGames cage. As he landed, Reed twisted his foot awkwardly, which led to the injury.
The former Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner was slowly gaining momentum on RAW. Bronson Reed was positioned as a dominant force for months. So, the injury came at an unfortunate time as Reed was starting to get over as a monster heel. With Bronson Reed expected to miss WrestleMania once again, we will have to wait and see how the situation will unfold.
