Bret Hart Calls Former Father Figure Vince McMahon a Sexual Predator in New Rant on WWE Founder

Vince McMahon’s reputation took a major hit after former WWE employee Janel Grant’s allegations became public. WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has never held back about his opinions of his one-time boss and did so again in a strong condemnation of McMahon recently.

In a recent appearance on The Rise Guys podcast, The Hitman gave his take on the entire lawsuit situation. Janel Grant has accused Vince McMahon and former WWE EVP John Laurinaitis of sex trafficking and sexual misconduct charges. Realising the seriousness of the situation, Hart did not hold back from berating McMahon.

“Everything that happened with John Laurinaitis and the things they were doing with that poor girl — shame on all of them! That’s just terrible,” Hart said. “I’ve had my ups and downs with Vince, and in many ways, I do respect him. But at the same time, what happened is inexcusable. There’s no place for that.

“I think Vince McMahon became a predator and used wrestling as the stage for all of his evil. This tells me that too much money can turn you into a bad person.”

Bret Hart has had his fair share of ups and downs with Vince McMahon. In 1997, the former WWE Chairman screwed Hart in real life. He conspired with Shawn Michaels and other officials to have Hart lose the WWE title match at Survivor Series. It took place in front of his home country fans in Montreal, Canada. This incident famously came to be called ‘The Montreal Screwjob.’

The duo reconciled years after the incident, and Hart has made numerous appearances on WWE television since then. As for McMahon, he is still under Federal investigation for the Janel Grant case. On his work front, McMahon is setting up his new company, ’14th & I’, which will be his next venture in the world of sports and entertainment.
