Ever since his WWE contract expired and he became a free agent, speculation has run wild. Once we saw Shelton Benjamin and MVP land in AEW, people were jumping to conclusions. There have been reports suggesting that Bobby Lashley has been signed to All Elite Wrestling. According to some, he’s been signed for quite a bit now. But, Lashley himself recently spoke, and he certainly didn’t spill any beans.
What Is Bobby Lashley’s Future
The former WWE Superstar sat down for an interview recently and would not indicate if he’d signed anywhere. Which, considering things, is wise. If he is heading to AEW, as expected, it would be best to keep that under wraps until the reveal. So, sure, he may be signed, sealed and All Elite. But as far as those listening in were concerned, the former All Mighty is free as a bird and entertaining quite a few options.

During his chat, he noted he saw Shelton Benjamin’s debut against Lio Rush, and that even Lio was “his boy”. But he also commented about joining TNA and working with Nic Nemeth, or going back to do MMA. But all that being said, it was widely expected that MVP will be joined by Lashley to fully form the Hurt Syndicate. According to Fightful, Lashley is indeed signed. So signed that he could have debuted at WrestleDream. However those plans were scrapped because there were also similar happenings planned for the same show, and it would have diminished his debut.
So, he may or may not be signed (seems like it). But until his debut (which could be imminent), he is going to pretend to be a free agent. As he should. But either way, Lashley’s future plans are going to be big.
