Sure, he won the Andre the Giant battle royal, but Big Bronson Reed is livid at missing WrestleMania 40.

I’ve said it ever since they moved it to the SmackDown before WrestleMania. The Andre the Giant battle royal began on the WrestleMania card, back when ‘Mania was a single night. Now that it’s spread over Saturday and Sunday, there is zero reason the memorial battle royal can’t be returned to the main card. But that isn’t necessarily the issue. Or, it may not necessarily fix the issue.
Why so mad?
The issue is that Big Bronson Reed is big mad, and with good reason. He had a stellar run in NXT. However Vince McMahon fired him because he was a Triple H guy. WWE was fortunate to be able to re-sign Reed. The big man has been superb on the main roster ever since. But…he’s always seemingly on the verge of something big, but just comes up a bit short. Now, the big win on Friday’s SmackDown could be a good thing for Bronson Reed, but it remains to be seen.
In the meantime, not being featured on either night one or night two of WrestleMania 40 didn’t sit well with Reed. The ticked off Superstar took to social media to vent his frustration. Of course, the key players in the battle royal did not get spots on the main card, either night. But you could certainly make a case that perhaps Triple H and Nick Aldis should have schemed to have a battle of the final big three. Call it WrestleMania Meat Madness, Big Bronson Reed versus Ivar versus Otis. Nothing on the line, just three impressive big men given 10 minutes to shine.
It wasn’t meant to be in 2024, but Big Bronson Reed is motivated. He said he is too good to be benched for WrestleMania two years in a row…but it will not be benched for a third year. The big man has a ton of motivation for 2025 and WrestleMania 41. Let’s see where he winds up on next year’s card. Bronson Reed missed WrestleMania 40, but I wouldn’t want to tell him he’s missing another.
