Becky Lynch has finally addressed her WWE future during her recent appearance at the Vulture Festival.
Wearing a new look to the Vulture Festival, Lynch appeared on the stage and cleared the air of the swirling speculation. Her last exit from WWE ended with Dominik Mysterio slamming a door in her face and she lost to Liv Morgan. Lynch had made it clear that this wasn’t how she wanted her in-ring career to end.

“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face, that’s definitely not gonna happen,” Lynch said to the audience, as per reports from those in attendance.
However, she did not go into specifics about her return to WWE. Lynch hinted, however, that her comeback could take time, saying she’s happy with what she’s doing right now outside the ring, including promoting her autobiography, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl.
Speculation Around Lynch’s WWE Return
Several reports have also helped fuel optimism that Lynch will eventually return to WWE. PWInsider sources within WWE and Netflix, state that it’s possible Lynch could be back in time for Monday Night Raw’s January 6, 2025 debut on Netflix. Sources close to WWE and Lynch suggest talks for a new deal have been positive and both sides plan to continue their successful partnership.
According to Fightful, Lynch is still close with WWE, even though she is on hiatus. WWE has officially referred to her absence as a ‘hiatus,’ during which she can come back when the time is right.
Possible Storylines for Lynch’s Return
The WWE women’s division is going to get a massive shake-up when Lynch comes back. Liv Morgan claimed she has retired Lynch more than once, meaning a rematch with her seems very likely. Due to Morgan being the Women’s World Champion, a war between the two could be headlining major WWE events.
Also, Lynch’s return will likely create new rivalries with NXT talents like Lyra Valkyria or new rivalries with old opponents like Rhea Ripley with their iconic clash at WrestleMania 40 in mind. WWE could also include her in fresh storylines as part of the campaign to develop the RAW brand on Netflix.
A Legacy Yet to Be Finished
WWE fans and the women’s division are heavily feeling the absence of Becky Lynch. Her capacity to catch audiences with her charisma, storytelling, and abilities in the ring has cemented her as one of WWE’s all-time greats. Details about her return are not confirmed and her promise that she’s not done has fans excited for what’s next.
Lynch’s WWE journey is far from over, whether she comes back to reclaim gold or to settle some scores from her past. And her fans are already waiting for updates on “The Man” as the countdown to 2025 starts.
