WWE superstars have recently been facing unsettling situations. First, it was Liv Morgan, and now it is new RAW superstar Roxanne Perez. However, the authorities stepped in and took action for her security.
An unnamed user on X wished harm and threatened former NXT standout Roxanne Perez. The user’s account was withheld in response to a legal demand. This meant that the X authorities intervened and supported the demand for legal action.
“It has been reported. If you know what I’m talking about, then you know what I’m talking about. Thank you to everyone who made me aware,” Raw GM Adam Pearce posted on X.
Before the Roxanne Perez incident, Liv Morgan was the target of a stalker situation. It was reported that a person, who was rumored to be obsessed with the former WWE Women’s World Champion, had been arrested outside the Performance Center on June 3rd.
Following an investigation, the culprit, identified as Shawn Chan, was apprehended for another charge and had nothing to do with being Morgan’s stalker.
However, right after, another arrest was made with the second accused being the one to stalk Morgan. The matter was reported to be handled by federal authorities, and WWE itself took the initiative to resolve the issue. Furthermore, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan are not the only ones who have faced such situations.
In the past, top stars like Alexa Bliss and Sonya Deville have also been subjected to stalker incidents. The man involved in Deville’s case broke into her house and was arrested and tried in court. On the other hand, Bliss faced the obsessive behavior of a fan online who even stalked her at multiple places. With such concerning issues prevailing, WWE should take more drastic measures for the safety of its in-ring performers and celebrity figures.
