WWE And TNA Legend AJ Styles Reveals Timeline For Retirement, And It Is Good News For His Fans

It looks like AJ Styles fans may get the “Phenomenal One” for two more years before he finally brings his legendary career to a close.

Over the last 20 years, there have been some legendary performers in the professional wrestling business. Names like CM Punk, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Kenny Omega, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar get a lot of the attention. But AJ Styles is just as good as any of them.

The one-time heart of TNA wrestling was able to transition his success to Japan in NJPW, then eventually at the highest level, WWE, during his impressive career. However, all great things come to an end. And the man that has held TNA, NJPW and WWE’s top titles is closing in on 50. Furthermore, after battling injuries in recent years, it seems likely his career is nearing its end.

There has been recent speculation that he could finish his career this year. However, Styles revealed this week he still has even more gas left in the tank.

In a new conversation with popular wrestling interview Chris Van Vliet, AJ Styles revealed that he wants to be done in the wrestling business before he turns 50 years old.

“The Phenomenal One” turns 48 in June. This means that hopefully long-time wrestling fans will get to see him perform for two more years before retiring. Despite being up there in age, Styles has shown since returning to the ring at the Royal Rumble that he is still a fantastic performer at 47.

A recent rumor suggested his current contract with WWE expires in the next few months.
