WWE SmackDown Card and Preview
John Cena made his presence felt all over Saturday Night’s Main Event. After disposing of R-Truth in their one-on-one match, he re-emerged later in the evening to try and cost Jey Uso his World Heavyweight Championship. His attempt was thwarted by Cody Rhodes, making his first appearance since Wrestlemania. Now, both Rhodes and Cena are set to appear this Friday on Smackdown. There will be tension in the air as their rivalry reignites ahead of their huge tag match at Money in the Bank.
The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match has been filling out quite nicely. Seth Rollins was the latest huge name to punch his ticket to the big event. This week on Smackdown, it’ll be Andrade, Carmelo Hayes and United States Champion Jacob Fatu vying for a coveted spot. Fatu will be looking to add to his championship resume, while Andrade and Hayes are seeking to make some waves of their own. Knowing the athleticism each competitor brings, this match is sure to bring the house down.
Jade Cargill and Naomi have spent the better part of the year at each other’s throats. The two rivals just can’t let sleeping dogs lie and continue trying to get at one another no matter the cost. Well, now they have some added incentive as they’ll both participate in a Money in the Bank qualifying match this Friday. However, a very dangerous additional element is in play in the form of Nia Jax, who will also be competing in this triple threat. Which one of these three ladies will overcome adversity and head towards Money in the Bank with their eyes on the prize?
