WWE Smackdown Card and Preview

- Cody Rhodes has been making the rounds the past week, addressing the attack he suffered at the hands of John Cena and The Rock. He’ll get his chance to confront Cena for the first time on Monday’s RAW as they’re both set to appear. In the meantime, he’ll be a special guest this Friday on Miz TV. Never one to shy away from pushing buttons, fans can expect The Miz to prod Cody with a barrage of loaded questions. But with as amped up as Cody has been since the attack, fans should not expect the champion to shy away from firing back.
- Last week’s episode kicked off with none other than Randy Orton, fresh off his return at Elimination Chamber. “The Viper” had plenty to say regarding Kevin Owens and is looking to get his hands on him and finish what he started. That situation aside, it has been a few months since Orton has been in action. A chance encounter backstage has provided him with a prime opponent in the form of Carmelo Hayes. Needless to say, the young star will have his hands full with a ticked-off Orton looking to sharpen up.
- The tag team scene on Smackdown has been on fire lately, with plenty of teams fighting to get to the top. One team that has cut their way to the front of the line is The Street Profits. Ever since they returned at the Royal Rumble they’ve exhibited a mean streak beyond anything they’ve shown before. This week, they get their shot at WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY. Will the champs be able to walk out of Barcelona with the straps or is this The Profits’ time to reign supreme?
- Also scheduled this week is a one-on-one bout between Charlotte Flair and B-Fab. We can also expect appearances from United States Champion LA Knight, Jacob Fatu, Drew McIntyre and much more!
