WWE Smackdown Card and Preview
- Kevin Owens was ordered by Smackdown GM Nick Aldis last week to return the Winged Eagle title belt he has been carrying around. But Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had a better suggestion. He proposed a ladder match at the upcoming Royal Rumble with both belts hanging above the ring. With Aldis making it official, both men will surely be looking to gain an edge ahead of the highly anticipated bout. Owens struck the first blow last week. How will the champion retaliate?
- WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax has been caught up in a bit of awkwardness lately with partners Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae. This week, Jax will have to try and put that aside as she defends her championship against Naomi. With Stratton still in possession of the Money in the Bank briefcase, will this be the time she cashes in on her supposed friend?
- Shinsuke Nakamura has been in complete control since capturing the United States Championship. But Andrade has his eyes set on taking the champion down a peg. Last week, Andrade declared that he was not afraid of the champion and challenged him to a non-title bout to prove it. Will Nakamura keep right on rolling or is this the time he finally finds a worthy challenger?
