WWE Smackdown Card and Preview

- All eyes will be on the Blue Brand this week as John Cena will appear live. We haven’t seen him since he was laid out in London by his Wrestlemania opponent, Cody Rhodes. Their Undisputed WWE Championship match will headline Night 2 and you better believe Cena will be looking to gain an edge over the champion who will also be there this Friday night. What will Cena have to say to Cody and to the crowd ahead of one of the biggest main events in Mania history? And will Cena have a certain high-powered ally close by to spring a surprise?
- A Wrestlemania tradition is set to return this Friday as The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be held on Smackdown. Since its debut at Wrestlemania XXX, it has become an action-packed way to get a number of superstars in on the Mania weekend festivities. Names such as Big Show, Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed have claimed victory over the years. Which name will step up and claim victory this year to add their name to the record books?
- One of the highlights of the year for Smackdown has been the rise of the tag team division. Current champions The Street Profits have been riding high since they captured the titles. They’ve had to remain sharp, given the litany of strong contenders in the division. This Friday, it’ll be The Motor City Machine Guns getting a crack at the straps. Given the athleticism both teams bring to the ring, this matchup has the potential to be a major highlight. Will The Profits continue their reign or will MCMG recapture the titles to put an exclamation point on their first Wrestlemania weekend?
- Also scheduled, Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alba Fyre will take on Zelina Vega, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance. We can also expect appearances from Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest and much more!
