- Coming out of WWE’s Crown Jewel event came a huge announcement of a Fatal 4-Way match taking place this Monday to name the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. The four competitors taking part will be Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio. There is obviously a ton of intrigue surrounding those names. Particularly Priest and Mysterio given their history, so this is bound to be an explosive bout with a prized opportunity awaiting the victor to face the reigning champion, Gunther.
- Speaking of Gunther, he came up short in his match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to name the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion. It was a very rare clean loss for ‘The Ring General’ which will likely not sit well with him. How will he respond to the loss while also keeping a close eye on the Fatal 4-Way that will name his next challenger?
- One person who didn’t come up short at Crown Jewel was Liv Morgan. The current Women’s World Champion defeated WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax to become the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. In doing so, Liv adds another accolade to what has been a career year. And Monday will look to be a night of celebration for the female star.
- Also announced for Monday is Chad Gable vs. Dragon Lee in what is sure to be an incredibly athletic clash. We can expect appearances from American Made and the LWO as well as so much more!
