- The dream has come true for “Main Event” Jey Uso as he captured the World Heavyweight Championship on Saturday night. He overcame the biggest hurdle of his career by toppling former champion Gunther in decisive fashion. The celebration was on as he was joined in the ring by his twin brother Jimmy Uso to soak in the adoration of the capacity crowd in Allegiant Stadium. The energy will likely be the same as the freshly minted champion appears live this Monday on RAW.
- In the eyes of many fans, the match that stole the weekend was the Women’s Championship Triple-Threat featuring Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair and defending champion Iyo Sky. Iyo managed to hold off her two incredibly formidable challengers to retain the strap in a scintillating bout. It was a career-defining victory on wrestling’s biggest stage. Riding high off such a monumental win, what will the future now hold for the champion? And given this is the RAW after Mania, will we see a brand new challenger emerge?
- The weekend produced its share of surprises with names such as Joe Hendry (clap, clap) creating incredible moments. But the biggest return happened during the Women’s Tag Team Championship match as “The Man” Becky Lynch answered the call as Lyra Valkyria’s mystery partner. The duo went on to capture the gold, defeating champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. The former champs will surely be looking for retribution tonight in what’s sure to be a red-hot situation. And what do we make of the mystery surrounding Bayley’s attacker who opened the door for Lynch’s return?
