Saturday Night’s Main Event is back for another installment tomorrow night. The legendary event will have plenty of WWE action taking place between the red, white and blue ropes. A World Heavyweight Championship bout, a Steel Cage match and so much more is on tap.
With that in mind, let’s look at what you need to know before watching Saturday Night’s Main Event and also some bold predictions for every match.
How to watch Saturday Night’s Main Event
Saturday Night’s Main Event will emanate from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL, and begins at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST. Be sure to take note of that start time to catch all the action. This weekend’s event can be watched live on NBC or via streaming on Peacock. Check local listings for availability and Peacock for subscription prices and packages.
Steel Cage Match: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre
These two hosses love throwing it down for our enjoyment. Pound for pound, two of the biggest, hardest-hitting superstars on the roster have been at each other’s throats for a long time. And now things have escalated to where they need to settle it inside a steel cage.
Expect no punches to be pulled in this one. The physicality will be off the charts and will exhibit the type of carnage this structure warrants. It could honestly be a toss-up as to who comes out on top, but I’m going with Priest. If reports of McIntyre stepping away for a bit are true, this would be the ideal spot to write him off while giving Priest a boost in the process.
John Cena vs. R-Truth

Well, it was nice knowing you, Truth. In all seriousness, it never ceases to amaze how entertaining R-Truth has been throughout his career and how well he has been able to involve himself in a variety of scenarios. Particularly, his running gag over the years of being Cena’s biggest fan has now paid off in this featured bout on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
But this match is all storyline fodder. Cena should make quick work of Truth, furthering his heelish persona at the expense of a beloved fan-favorite. The more ruthless the execution, the more effective this will be. Hopefully, they’ll make this count.
CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker

Rollins and Breakker have been leaving their mark on Monday Night Raw since they’ve linked up. They’ve made their motive crystal clear: Rollins wants the World Heavyweight Championship. Zayn has tried to talk sense into Rollins to no avail. And Punk, well, he’s done talking and would be more than happy to take Rollins and Breakker out.
It’ll be easier said than done for Punk and Zayn and this should be a real barn burner. Ultimately, I expect Rollins and Breakker to get the win here. They have a ton of momentum on their side and stand more to gain from the story being told about Rollins’ quest for gold. It also wouldn’t shock me if they are aided in their victory by the introduction of a new member to their crew.
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul

This is a very, very interesting contest. On the one hand, Uso remains incredibly popular and is still freshly minted as champion. On the other, Paul has proven to be incredibly capable in the ring and on the mic and it’s evident the company has huge plans for him. So who will walk out of Saturday Night’s Main Event with the title?
On this occasion, I believe Uso keeps the title. Whether clean in the middle or by disqualification, I think it’s too soon for ‘Main Event’ to lose the strap. But this won’t be the end of the line for Paul. I fully expect them to run this back at some point with a much different result. Paul capturing a World Title seems inevitable.
