WrestleMania 41 is set up to be another massive event for WWE. This year’s two-night card has some huge matches, including John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns. Yet, like WrestleManias of the past, this one is sure to have some notable surprises in store for fans.
With that in mind, let’s look at six stunning surprises that could go down on April 19 and 20 at WrestleMania 41.
New Member of Judgment Day Debuts

One of the ongoing storylines on Raw is the continued issues within Judgment Day. Finn Balor wants to be their leader without proclaiming it. Dominik Mysterio believes they need more firepower in the group. It seems like things are coming to a head, and the valuable faction could be going through another evolution. This time, with Balor getting pushed out.
And that could happen at WrestleMania 41 with the addition of a new member. Possibly Andrade, Jeff Cobb (rumored to be heading to WWE), or Ludwig Kaiser (someone Mysterio was seen talking to in the background last month)
Seth Rollins Turns Heel

One of the best storylines on the road to WrestleMania 41 is the unique rivalry between CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. Yet, the issues between Rollins and Punk have raged for the last year. And in many instances, “The Visionary” has come off as a very bitter man on the verge of a major change. After Drew McIntyre was moved to Smackdown, Raw could use another elite heel alongside Gunther.
Rollins could certainly fill that role, and he feels at a point in his career where he is ready for another shift in character. Don’t be surprised if you see a shocking development where Rollins makes a clear turn to the dark side and possibly with a new faction.
Gunther Beats Jey Uso

One of the more predictable bouts at WrestleMania 41 is the World Heavyweight title match between Gunther and Jey Uso. Rarely does a Royal Rumble winner not go on to win a world title at ‘Mania. But maybe this year he doesn’t. Uso is a very popular competitor, but winning the Rumble was a reach. However, maybe winning the most stacked Rumble ever was his world title moment? If WWE wanted to solidify Gunther as the Thanos of the company for the next decade, turning Uso away again would help cement him the most hated man on Raw.
Bianca Belair Turns Heel

Bianca Belair vs. Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley could be in contention for the best match at WrestleMania 41. It is an interesting clash of characters where they are all, technically, babyfaces. But that can’t last much longer. Ripley is Raw’s most popular female performer, and Sky has developed a strong and loyal following. Belair has shown some heel tendencies in recent weeks and is getting boo’d a bit more. If any character needs a shift in character to set up their next year, it’s Belair. Expect a win and a heel turn at ‘Mania.
Naomi Beats Jade Cargill

Naomi vs. Jade Cargill is sure to be booked for one of the nights of this month’s mega event. Like Gunther-Uso, the winner seems predictable. But maybe not. Naomi has delivered excellent emotional work since her turn. There is a lot of potential in a heel Naomi.
But let’s not forget that Cargill has had some locker room issues over the last year. While she should win at ‘Mania, management could send a clear message to her to respect her co-workers and play nice, or her stardom can be quickly taken away. Don’t be shocked if Naomi steals a win.
The Rock Returns At WrestleMania 41

It may be expected by some, but The Rock is not at all guaranteed to be at WrestleMania 41. Rumors point to him missing the event, and he has barely been mentioned in the clashes between Rhodes and Cena recently. Despite him having a key role in setting up the feud. He could stay quiet and lie in wait for just the right moment when fans least expect it and return just in time to cost Rhodes the world title in the night two main event.
Miro Makes First WWE Appearance Since Leaving AEW

Rey Fenix is not a member of Smackdown. And Malakai Black is expected to return this month. That leaves one former AEW star rumored to be heading (back) to WWE soon: Miro. There is no set date for his return, but a surprise comeback at the biggest event of the year would make a huge statement. WrestleMania always has unexpected moments, and this could be one of them. Could Miro end up being that new aforementioned member of Judgment Day?
