The “Best in the World” is now looking towards WrestleMania, the event he missed last year due to his aforementioned injury. With the road to “The Show of Shows” in full force, here are five potential opponents for CM Punk at WrestleMania 41.
5. Randy Orton

Randy Orton has been on the sidelines for months now. “The Viper” was assaulted by Kevin Owens on SmackDown and the fans have yet to see him on WWE television. With the road to WrestleMania 41 underway, Orton can make his return after the WWE Elimination Chamber event and start a feud with CM Punk.
He and Orton had a spectacular match at WrestleMania 27, so the fans would really be thrilled to see them squared against each other on The Grandaddy of Them All once again.

4. Seth Rollins

The long-awaited match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk finally took place on RAW’s debut episode on Netflix. The match was a stellar showdown for the fans, and they surely would not mind seeing the heated rivals collide again. Moreover, this match was the original plan for last year’s WrestleMania but was dropped after Punk got injured. So this year, WWE fans could once again see Punk and Rollins collide at the stage they were supposed to meet.

It would lead to the first-ever match between Punk and Reigns, with both men at the top of their respective careers at WrestleMania 41.

Should Punk win the match, he could choose the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, as his opponent, leading to a first-ever clash between them on the “Grandest Stage of Them All.”
