It feels like WrestleMania 41 would not be complete without WWE legend Randy Orton. The future Hall-of-Famer missed last year’s event due to a back injury that nearly ended his career. He doesn’t have many ‘Manias left at 44 years old and over 20 years in the company.
That is why he likely will return on the Road to WrestleMania 41. With that in mind, let’s look at five potential opponents for “The Viper” at April’s mega-event.

Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens is set to face Sami Zayn at this year’s Elimination Chamber event. This feud will not continue at ‘Mania. That leaves KO’s dance card open and Orton will likely be his opponent. Owens attacked his pal earlier this year and “injured” him. Orton is surely aiming for revenge and this is likely to happen at WrestleMania 41.

Uncle Howdy
Orton had a notable history with Bray Wyatt. If the company wanted to go with an outside-the-box approach for him at WrestleMania, maybe they revisit that history by making Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks his targets at the event. Many panned “The Fiend” vs. Orton ‘Mania match a few years ago. This would be a chance for Wyatt’s brother and the WWE legend to do better at this year’s event.

Roman Reigns
There were always rumors about a potential feud between Roman Reigns and Randy Orton during the “Tribal Chief’s” historic title run. However, it never happened. Maybe now might be a good time to put the two legends together on the biggest stage possible. If Reigns does not face Seth Rollins or CM Punk at WrestleMania 41, Orton would be a worthy foe at the mega-event.

CM Punk
Randy Orton and CM Punk have an extensive history in and outside the ring. With the pair of WWE legends on very good terms in the final years of their wrestling careers, maybe a match against each other is possible if Punk does not end up facing Cody Rhodes at the event. They would also have more than enough time to make it a must-see bout in April.

Damian Priest’s plan at WrestleMania 41 seem up in the air at this point. While he has faced quite a few top stars during his time in the company, there are many others he has not had a feud with.
