Heading into WWE’s 2025 edition of the Elimination Chamber, 16-time world champion John Cena is a big favorite to win the card’s main event and punch a ticket to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. However, what if the unexpected occurs and he doesn’t win the unique match?

CM Punk

John Cena and CM Punk have a long and historic history. Punk has not made it a secret that he wants to face Cena one more time before he retires. If WWE wanted to use Cena’s last ‘Mania to help elevate the resume of a star they feel they can make boatloads of cash with over the next decade, then there is no better option than Logan Paul. The match has been rumored for the last year and the WWE legend seems to be all for it. They may go back to the idea if creative pivots away from a match against Rhodes.

Solo Sikoa

Some may have forgotten, but Cena was handed a loss in his last one-on-one match by none other than Solo Sikoa. If the company wants to build Cena back up into being a serious title contender then getting revenge on Sikoa at the biggest event of the year makes some sense narratively.
