With the professional wrestling industry having a massive fanbase, fans are always debating what would be the best WWE vs AEW crossover matches that could be made. Well, look no further as we offer up the 10 best featuring some of the biggest stars from World Wrestling Entertainment and All Elite Wrestling.
10. Orange Cassidy vs Chad Gable
AEW’s Orange Cassidy is hilarious as a gimmick, but he has proved himself to be tougher than nails in many matches that brought the crowd to their feet. WWE’s Chad Gable has been a comedic gimmick for most of his career. But as of late, under the now HHH-controlled company, he has also shown that he’s a serious competitor in the ring.
Bottom line: These men can be funny. They can also be deadly serious. Fans should fall over themselves in wanting to see this match.

9. Finn Balor vs. Pac
While AEW’s Pac and WWE’s Finn Balor have worked on the same roster, we have never seen these guys together at their full creative best. So imagine Balor facing none other than Pac? Balor was great back in his NXT days and remains a force on Judgement Day today.
Many fans would love to see Balor against ‘The Bastard’ Pac. Who knows what might be possible in the future?
8. Thunder Rosa vs. Bayley
Bayley is one of the top draws on the women’s roster in WWE and is reportedly a real locker-room leader to boot. Thunder Rosa is a former AEW women’s champion who has just returned to in-ring action after an extensive injury.
Fans would love to see these women go toe-to-toe, but it’s something not likely to happen anytime soon. But talk about a real Forbidden Door.

7. Eddie Kingston vs. Gunther
Gunther is currently the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion. He’s seemingly unstoppable. Eddie Kingston was recently a Triple Crown champion until he lost the Continental Championship to Kazuchika Okada.
But Kingston remains wildly popular and is one of the toughest on the AEW roster. Gunther vs. Kingston would be money, no doubt.
6. Seth Rollins vs. Kenny Omega
I have to be honest. There are probably a dozen opponents we would choose to face Seth Rollins. He is one of those unique talents that is so talented he can wrestle with anyone. However, if we had to pick one opponent it would be Kenny Omega.
Both men succeeded in creating larger-than-life heel personas. Both have been good as babyfaces. More than that, they remained insanely popular while portraying their personas. It would be great to see how these men try to one-up one another during a five-star match.
5. FTR vs. DIY
FTR was known as The Revival in WWE and has since gone on to great success as a multiple-time tag team champion in AEW. Many consider them the best tag team in the world. DIY tore the house down in NXT in matches against The Revival and when Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were first known as DIY.
Both teams have improved since the last time they met all those years ago. A rematch would be something every fan would want to see.
4. Becky Lynch vs. Britt Baker
Britt Baker and Becky Lynch share similar paths to success. They were often ignored until a bloody injury made them extremely memorable. Baker got the reputation of a tough girl when she got a bloody injury during her match with Thunder Rosa in 2021. Lynch on the other hand got her nose broken by Nia Jax a few years prior.
Both women are also outstanding heels and faces. Lynch as the man, and Britt Baker as D.M.D. But where there are similarities, there are also differences. Of course, this is also what would make a match between these two women incredibly interesting to watch.

3. CM Punk vs. Will Ospreay
CM Punk used to be the man in AEW. Now he’s in WWE, where even though he’s currently injured is more popular than ever. Will Ospreay has now finally made the jump from New Japan Pro Wrestling to AEW – where almost immediately seems to be the face of the company.
A WWE vs AEW match with these two would be a dream for fans and undoubtedly do major box office numbers. And it’s really hard to say who would win.
2. AJ Styles vs. Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega is the best wrestler to ever live in my book. Needless to say, there are lots of dream matches we want for him. That being said, one opponent is an absolute must. We would love to see Omega versus Styles.
AJ Styles and Kenny Omega were both King of the Indies years ago. Their love for wrestling was quite similar, but their paths ended up very different. Today, both are in their 40s now and they remain two of the best in-ring technicians in the world. Who would come out victorious if these two former Bullet Club members faced off? Omega or Styles?

1. Jon Moxley vs. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley have such a history together, and it would be impossible not to have them face off on one of our WWE vs AEW crossover matches.
Reigns has evolved considerably since Moxley left for AEW, becoming one of WWE’s longest-reigning world champions. Naturally, the same can be said for Jon Moxley. Needless to say, Roman would not have the easiest time against Moxley. After all, the Shield Brothers know each other well indeed. Long before the Bloodline.
But who has evolved more than the other to be called the undisputed best in a WWE vs AEW match?
