The 2025 edition of Money in the Bank goes down next weekend. As qualifier matches play out on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, there is a lot of speculation about who will, or should, win the briefcase on June 7. There are quite a few stars on the roster who would be a lot of fun as a threat to cash in their contract for a shot at the WWE or World Heavyweight Champion over the next year.
With that in mind, here are eight WWE wrestlers we feel should get a chance to win the 2025 Money in the Bank briefcase.
Karrion Kross

Despite having very few matches in recent months. Karrion Kross has been a highly entertaining character during his backstage segments as he looks to direct the paths of certain stars. His stock is at a high after a viral rant after WrestleMania. Having him win the briefcase, then building him over the next nine months as a sinister and dangerous bad guy could set up a fantastic and dastardly cash later this year.
Alex Bliss

The reactions Alexa Bliss has gotten since her return in January show she is still beloved by fans. She deserves to be in major storylines while she is still around, and winning Money in the Bank and lurking in the shadows behind the women’s champions would be a great way to use this more unpredictable version of “Little Miss Bliss.”
Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn lost his chance to qualify for the Money in the Bank this week on WWE Raw. However, there are often last chance opportunities just before the event. And he would be a great option to get into the match that way. Zayn is a long shot to become the WWE or World Heavyweight Champion. However, the MITB briefcase is the perfect trump card for an underdog. With Seth Rollins having grand plans for WWE in the months ahead, Zayn eventually ruining them with a cash-in would be great storytelling.
Naomi

Naomi turning to the dark side was a great reboot for a character that had gone stale. The MITB briefcase is always at its best when it is in the hands of an evildoer. In a straight-up one-on-one match, she is unlikely to beat the elites of the division. However, by having the briefcase, she is a serious threat to be a champion in the next year. Furthermore, it just fits her current character well.
Finn Balor

Finn Balor has not been in the main event picture on WWE Raw since two summers ago. Rumors circulated that the company planned to give him a sizable push this year after signing a new contract. What better way to head in that direction than to have him win the MITB briefcase? It’s been nearly a decade since Balor was a world champion. The MITB contract makes sense to finally get him over that hump.
Giulia

It seems like WWE has big plans for Giulia on SmackDown. If they wanted to really elevate her in 2025, having her win Money in the Bank would certainly do that. Her current character is mysterious and unpredictable. Making her a great fit to have the briefcase. Furthermore, she doesn’t have to be successful when she cashes in. The added spotlight of the MITB contract would certainly help establish her on the blue brand.
LA Knight

LA Knight was the fans’ choice to win MITB several years ago. Maybe now is the perfect time to pull the trigger on a potential Knight run at the top title. He is freed up after losing the US Title at WrestleMania. Getting that big win would help him regain his momentum. Plus, he seems overdue for a heel turn. Maybe a turn and cash-in could put Knight on a main event rocket later this year?
Logan Paul

There really is no more perfect person to have the Money in the Bank briefcase than Logan Paul. He is easy to hate, but must be respected. He just has the perfect character to hold it over a champion’s head that he might cash in on them. And sooner or later, he will be a world champion if he is serious about sticking around WWE long-term. Paul getting his first world title via a cash-in is so fitting.
