WWE Evolution 2 in July is set to showcase why the company’s women’s roster is the best on the planet. Superstars of the past and present will square off in marquee showdowns at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. As WWE plots out the card for the first WWE Evolution event in seven years, here are seven matches they should seriously consider.
Asuka vs Giulia
Asuka had been out of action for a year from WWE. In her absence, another sensation from her land rose to prominence: Giulia. “The Beautiful Madness” has made significant strides in the company in Asuka’s absence. With “The Empress of Tomorrow” back in the fold, a huge match between the two Japanese stars can be a top-tier addition to WWE Evolution 2.
Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill
The WWE Universe was enthralled at witnessing the first-ever showdown between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill on SmackDown after WrestleMania 41. However, the match did not end with a decisive winner. With Cargill reportedly in store for a major push, a huge WWE Women’s title match against Stratton at Evolution may and should be expected.
IYO Sky vs Stephanie Vaquer
Much like Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton, fans got a preview of another dream match that ended without a proper winner on the RAW after WrestleMania 41, between Stephanie Vaquer and IYO Sky. As “La Primera” continues to climb the ladder of success, a Women’s World title match at WWE Evolution could fuel her push. And establish her as a prime attraction on the main roster.
The Bella Twins in a Tag Team Title Match
Following Liv Morgan’s unfortunate injury, Nikki Bella‘s rumored match with her has been scrapped. However, the sad incident might have paved the way for something even bigger. Her sister, Brie Bella, is reportedly in talks with WWE for a return. Should it happen, the Bella Twins can reunite and go after the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles at Evolution 2. This could see Raquel Rodriguez looking for a replacement after Morgan has been rumored to be out of action for six months.
Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch
The second WWE Evolution could see longtime rivals, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, compete against each other one more time. Every time they’ve had a singles bout, it was worthy of a main event showdown for a massive PLE. Moreover, this time, it could be for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title, currently held by “The Man.”
