What’s being dubbed as “Black Thursday” on the X platform, as per Fightful, a number of big talent names on the main roster have been released. Mustafa Ali was the first to shock fans, as he broke the news via social media.

Next, came Emma, who had just returned to the company in late 2022, as well as Rick Boogs, Aliyah (who also took to social media to make the announcement), and AJ “Dop Dolla” Francis. Elias was also included in the released names, still a recent report revealed he no longer had a “personal contract” with the company.

While all the talents that have been released are shocking, to say the least, Riddick Moss, Shelton Benjamin, and former WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler have caught fans completely off guard. Moss joined the company in 2014 and only wrestled for the promotion his entire career.

Meanwhile, Benjamin’s second run with the company, which began in 2017, was a solid one. He held the tag titles with Cedric Alexander and was a force to be reckoned with as part of the Hurt Business faction along with Bobby Lashley and MVP.

Dolph Ziggler has been with the company for close to two decades and has been one of those talents to “do it all” in the organization. As a Triple Crown Champion, he held the World Heavyweight title (two times), U.S. title (two times), was an IC Champion (six times), a four-time tag title holder, and held the NXT Championship. He was also Mr. Money in the Bank (MITB) in 2012.

WNZ will keep fans posted about any further talent releases.
