It’s been a hot minute since Dolph Ziggler has been on WWE television, which makes it that much more interesting that he had a cameo on “Being The Elite” recently, along with his brother, AEW star, Ryan Nemeth.
Dolph Ziggler Makes An Appearance On “Being The Elite”
Ziggler hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the May 29th edition of Monday Night RAW. Still, he did make an appearance on this week’s epi of “Being The Elite”.
The video was filmed by his real-life brother, Ryan Nemeth. The WWE superstar was signing posters for a comedy show the two were involved in.
Ryan asked his brother if he knew the Young Bucks re-signed with All Elite Wrestling. Still, he referred to them as the “Jackson Brothers”, versus their onscreen names, which confused The Showoff.
The WWE star responded to his brother by saying, “Tito and Michael?” Obviously, a joke and a reference to the famous Jackson 5, the singing family.
Ryan also poked fun that they’d have to “blur out” his brother (WWE star) from “Being The Elite”. Still, Ziggler encouraged Nemeth to keep the footage as is, noting they have put him on (BTE) several times before, at least “my voice” or “my hand”.
Ryan Nemeth has been on BTE a number of times over the past year. This explains the young AEW star’s newfound closeness with The Bucks and The Elite. The bond he has was clear when he referred to CM Punk recently as “literally” the softest man alive in a tweet that is now deleted.
This led to a backstage confrontation between Punk and Nemeth. The good news is that reports revealed the two “buried the hatchet” after CM Punk explained that the Twitter post chanced inflaming tensions between him and The Elite.
Ryan was sent home from a last week’s AEW Collision taping, and Punk took one hundred percent of the accountability for doing so, according to Fightful Select. However, this was reportedly because he did not want talent from AEW Dynamite on the show.
