
Following his death, wrestling legends have taken to social media to remember “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan.
On Tuesday morning, it was revealed that WWE icon Hulk Hogan had passed away after suffering a massive cardiac arrest while at home recovering from recent surgery on his spine. There had been rumors about serious health issues after the procedure. But they were blown off by those close to the legendary wrestler.
Despite the rumors, his loss is being felt hard throughout the professional wrestling industry, as fellow legends have offered up their thoughts on Hulk Hogan’s passing at 71.

“The world lost a treasure today,” Vince McMahon wrote in a statement on X. “Hulk Hogan was the greatest WWE Superstar of ALL TIME, someone who was loved and admired around the world. He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon.
“His grit and unbridled thirst for success were unparalleled – and made him the consummate performer. He gave everything he had to the audience whom he appreciated, respected, and loved.”
“He was the archetype of what it meant to be a ‘Superstar.’ A global sensation that inspired millions to work hard at whatever it was they wanted to accomplish, and a look that made him recognizable to fans around the world,” WWE Head of Creative Paul “Triple H” Levesque wrote in a statement.
“Hulk Hogan, clad in red and yellow or nWo black and white, was simply put, iconic. As a Real American or the leader of one of the industry’s biggest factions, he transcended and elevated the entire business to heights never before seen – in every country and on every continent.”
