Forbes claims that Wrestlemania 35 will tell us everything we need to know about the future of the WWE. I tend to agree, as a lot of important questions should be answered after the biggest pay-per-view of the year. So, how will the WWE proceed?
Will The WWE Continue to Support Lesnar?
WrestleMania 35 will tell us if the WWE will continue with the Brock Lesnar reign. If they do, it could be devastating for the brand and the company as a whole.
The WWE believes Brock Lesnar is a big draw, but I disagree. The big draw is the fact we get to see the WWE Universal Championship after weeks of absolutely nothing. The championship would be much better around the waist of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, frankly anyone other than Lesnar.
According to Forbes and numerous other sources, Lesnar’s contract is set to expire at WrestleMania. Of course, the WWE has been known to swerve us where Brock Lesnar’s contract is concerned. It could be extended already without us even realising. In fact, considering Vince is so desperate to hold onto Brock, he might have a new deal already. Honestly, I just don’t want to see much more of him. Some fans are still interested, I’m not.
Post WrestleMania WWE Future Revealed With Ronda Rousey?
If both Lesnar and Ronda Rousey drop the title at WrestleMania, it certainly signals a new era for the company. Don’t get me wrong, I do like Ronda Rousey and I think she has taken to wrestling in a major way. Lesnar on the other hand is a totally different matter, but I won’t digress.
Rumor has been circulating that Ronda Rousey wants to leave the WWE post-Wrestlemania to start a family, which of course is her right. It could also mean she drops the title to Charlotte or Becky Lynch. Either way, it signals a big change for months to come.
Superstar Shakeup After WrestleMania 35
Changes are set to happen after WrestleMania 35 anyway because the WWE has announced another superstar shakeup. If the WWE intend on finally listening to the crowd, the upcoming superstar shakeup could be quite interesting. Of course, it could just be wishful thinking on my end.
