Ring of Honor doesn’t have a big female roster, nor do I feel women in ROH get the proper time they get in other promotions, but they still have a few great ladies working for them.
One of them is Jenny Rose. Jenny has traveled to Japan and runs her own promotion, Aspire Pro.
She’s part of a younger crop of ladies who have learned in the Japanese dojos and taken some of the stiffer Japanese women’s style and brought it back to the United States.
Jenny wrestled on the Supercard of Honor Show over Wrestlemania weekend teaming with Mandy Leon. She’s a regular “Woman of Honor” fixture and a stand-out. She was trained in the ROH dojo (as well as Japan) and definitely possesses that quick ROH-style that you more often see in the boys.
Check out this match she had against fellow Woman of Honor Taeler Hendrix
In this match, she’s squaring off against powerhouse Jessicka Havok in a real hard-hitting bout. A great aspect of Jenny’s style is that she can wrestle with just about any other wrestler.
I was in attendance for this match vs. Kimber Lee at National Pro-Wrestling Day in 2015. It was one of my favorite matches on the card and introduced me to both talented ladies. Kimber is currently signed to NXT. Here’s hoping Jenny isn’t too far behind!
