Vince McMahon and Dana White now work together, but apparently the face of the UFC did not get along with the person who elevated WWE to a global enterprise.
Vince McMahon Called Savage And Killer By Dana White
Before the UFC, WWE was already there and accomplishing huge goals. WrestleMania was approaching 10 years just has the UFC was being introduced to fans.
For awhile, the companies were complete opposites. Although, the UFC continued to grow and both places became massive.
Some compared the two, but that is not fair as they serve completely different roles. As for the person who helped elevate each company, look no further than Dana White and Vince McMahon.
Then, these entities were purchased and now fall under the same umbrella of TKO.
While speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, White seemed to indicate Vince McMahon was not his favorite person for a time.
“My history with Vince isn’t a good one,” said White. “He tried to f— me so many times for no reason whatsoever except just to f— me.”
“But that’s in the past. Now that Vince and I are allies, no one’s been a better partner than Vince.”
“Since day one of the deal, it’s like I’m dealing with a different guy. It goes to show that when you oppose him, or he thinks you are opposing him, the guy comes after you blindly. Once you are aligned, Vince is an incredible partner.”
“Vince McMahon, man, he’s an absolute savage. Even with the stuff that went down with us in the past, I respect it.”
“I love killers. He’s definitely a killer. He’s the Michael Jordan of the business world.”
While Vince remains part of WWE, he was recently removed from creative by Ari Emanuel. It gives Triple H more power while Vince looks for other roles to fill.
So, is Dana White’s comments on Vince McMahon a good judgment of character?
