WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a splashing return to action during last year’s WrestleMania 39. It was the first time she had been in the ring since the 2019, when she faced Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam. Stratus had a great run in 2023, but she could make another comeback, soon?
Trish Stratus Hints At Yet Another WWE Return
The WWE star’s run in 2023 lasted from February to September. She feuded with “The Man” Becky Lynch and worked a full-time schedule during those months.
In fact, at the Payback premium live event (PLE) she and Lynch had an explosive Cage Match. While The Man won, many believed the bout was one of the best Stratus had in her entire wrestling career.
Stratus recently spoke to Alex McCarthy. She talked about her current status with the company and admitted that the “door remains open” to a return.
Trish notes that if the creative is good, and she can “add something different” or make something “interesting” with a “unique approach” to different characters then she would do it. Stratus also adds that as long as she can go “100%”, then she’ll lace up her boots again.
Becky Lynch’s Thoughts On Her WWE Payback Match With Trish Stratus
Earlier this January, Casual Podcast With Brad Tate interviewed Becky Lynch. She notes she was proud of the Payback Cage Match with Trish, and it “stands out” as one of her career favs.
Trish entered the WWE in 2000 and created a major impact in women’s wrestling. During her time, she held the Women’s title on seven different occasions.
While she retired in 2006, she did make sporadic appearances on WWE programming and even participated in WrestleMania 27. The WWE inducted her into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
