Anthem President and TNA Wrestling boss Carlos Silva has a message for fans unhappy that two NXT stars are holding the company’s top titles: “I’m glad the fans are talking about it.”

On Sunday, TNA Wrestling produced the company’s most successful card in North America. Slammiversary 2025 was able to draw over 7,000 fans into the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. Without a doubt, the event received added promotion via the company’s working relationship with WWE. And in the night’s two top matchups, WWE NXT talent competed for TNA’s top titles.

In the main event, former NXT champ Trick Williams successfully defended the TNA Championship. While NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jane was shockingly able to become a two-company titlist when she was able to defeat Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts title.

Despite the working relationship and access to WWE and NXT talent benefiting TNA Wrestling, some fans are not happy with a pair of outsiders holding the promotion’s top belts. On Monday, the President of TNA’s parent company, Anthem, responded to disgruntled wrestling fans.

“How do you respond? You respond that I understand, and I get it,” Carlos Silva said on the Battleground Podcast [h/t Fightful]. “If you saw the look on my face, that’s all part of wrestling. There were some great payoffs at Slammiversary with Leon (Slater), and there are going to be some great payoffs as we build again to Bound for Glory.

“These are the paths that happen as you build these matchups. For the fans, I guess what I would say is, I’m glad the fans are talking about it,” he added. “That means we matter and they care. We care and we’re going to keep growing it together.”

In the end, Silva is asking for patience and letting the stories play out. Considering that Bound for Glory is the WrestleMania of TNA, they likely have some fun and satisfying things planned for the October event.
