Former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton made a surprise appearance at this year’s WWE Royal Rumble, entering at number 29. This has had many fans wondering if she’ll get called up to the main roster, sooner rather than later. WNZ has an update, below.
Tiffany Stratton Main Roster Call-Up “Coming Soon”
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Tiffany could be heading to the main roster shortly. The report reveals backstage talks at WWE RAW about her first performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble this past Sunday.
It also notes that pitches have been made for Stratton to head to the Red brand. It’s important to note that nothing has been confirmed yet.
Still, some believe Tiffany could get a call-up as early as this month. Only time will tell.
Tiffany Stratton’s Wrestling History
At the age of 24, Stratton has a bright future ahead in the WWE and wrestling. She joined the company in late August 2021.
By the time November rolled around, she debuted on 205 Live where she defeated Amari Miller. Stratton would later debut on NXT on December 28 of that year.
Kevin Owens Worked Royal Rumble Injured
It didn’t take long for Stratton to get noticed, thanks to her in-ring athleticism and stellar mic work. She would score the NXT Women’s Championship in May 2023, after successfully winning an eight-woman single-elimination tourney for the title.
She defeated Gigi Dolin in the quarterfinals, and then Roxanne Perez in the semi-finals. In her last match, she faced Lyra Valkyria at NXT Battleground to finally win the gold, the first championship of her career.
She held that title for 107 days before losing it to “The Man” Becky Lynch during the September 12 edition of NXT. Not a bad championship run, and the match was an incredible watch. It’ll be interesting to see what Tiffany Stratton achieves during her main roster run.
