This is My Dream!
Rumors surrounding an impending return of the Hardy Boyz at WrestleMania have been floating around the internet and nobody could be more excited about it than me. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed with possible returns in the past, so I’m still being cautiously optimistic. Still, the rumors keep on coming, so here is the latest on the possible Hardy Boyz return!
The ROH Dilemma
When I spotted the Hardy Boyz at ROH, I was excited and disappointed at the same time. Even though I follow the indie scene quite heavily, I couldn’t wait to see what the Hardy Boyz could do on the biggest stage of them all at WrestleMania. Thus, my dreams were sadly shattered. Then, reports came that the Hardy Boyz only signed with ROH for a limited time and were free to pursue other avenues. So, does this mean they will return at WrestleMania 33?
New Tag Team Champs
SK reported this week that the Hardy Boyz could be taking the tag team titles at WrestleMania, more specifically during the match between the Sheamus, Cesaro, Gallows, and Anderson.
The Hardyz are heavily speculated to be returning over WrestleMania weekend and could do so in this bout, with their ROH deal ending 1st April.
Considering the references Matt Hardy has dropped on his Twitter account this week, I am certainly inclined to believe the rumor.
It was always a pleasure to do battle with the most popular & greatest Luchador of all time, @reymysterio.
Truly a SCINTILLATING WARRIOR. https://t.co/DjUNlIS7dj

Matt Hardy is not someone who can keep things quiet, opposed to his brother Jeff who has always been the quiet daredevil.
Of course, this is not the only thing to be excited about, because SK also stated that they could be winning the titles during a ladder match. When I think about the days where Jeff and Matt Hardy did their ladder matches, I get terribly excited. Nobody can put on a ladder match like the Hardy Boyz. Blend that with the ten thousands of people at WrestleMania and you probably get the wrestling match of the year. I can’t wait!
WWE Teasing a Possible Return
The Hardy Boyz have been dropping some hints about a possible return, but WWE has too:

It also referenced to the “broken” gimmick the two brothers maintained in TNA and ROH. HB retweeted the WWE post as well; we can only speculate what that means.
More Possible Returns to Be Excited About
WrestleMania might be called ReturnMania at the end of the broadcast, because many other superstars are set to return during the wrestling extravaganza of the year. In addition to the Hardy Boyz, Kurt Angle could also make his return to the big stage after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Friday. Many people also claim some WWE Superstars will be returning from injury, which includes everyone’s favorite demon lord Fin Balor.
At WrestleMania, we could also be looking at some upgrades from NXT to the main roster. One rumored upgrade I am particularly excited about: the Empress Asuka. Since her arrival at NXT, I immediately believed she was ready for the main stage. Now, she is the longest reigning NXT women’s champion, so I’m glad to see I wasn’t wrong.
So far, this WrestleMania is set to be one of the best of all time. I literally cannot wait.
