Slideshow: This Is Your Favorite WWE Wrestler Based On The Myers-Briggs Personality Test

Whether at work or via a quiz someone shares on Facebook, a lot of us have taken the Myers-Briggs Test to figure out what kind of personality we have. The idea behind the test is to determine how you think, feel about, react to, and notice situations and obstacles. Some of us are Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking and Perceiving (ESTP) while others are Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging (INFJ). We’ve seen Myers-Briggs applied to our favorite television shows and movies. Why not to our favorite WWE wrestlers? We’ve done some research and found the perfect wrestler for each Myers-Briggs Personality.

If you don’t know your Myers-Briggs type, use this handy chart below to find out. You may be surprised with some of the answers!

Now that you know your type, let’s find out which wrestler you are! Maybe you’re similar to the greatest of all time, our first wrestler!

[tps_start_button label=”Start slideshow” style=”” class=”tps_startslideshow”]

[tps_title] INFJ: Undertaker [/tps_title]

(Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging)

A “locker room” leader who is insightful and very intelligent, the Undertaker was the guy wrestlers would go to for advice. Undertaker was well-known for watching every match and not being afraid to dole out criticism. He also was the “judge” presiding over the infamous “Wrestlers’ Court.” His word was bond and helped keep the locker room in a state of harmony.

Our next wrestler has a lot of respect he’s earned, but he got it through different means.

[tps_title]ENFJ: William Regal[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judgemental)

If you ask any wrestler on the roster who their biggest influences are, you’ll likely hear answers like Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold. But you’ll also hear William Regal. He’s mastered the art of wrestling, and he’s more than willing to share his skills. Indeed, he is one of the longest-tenured coaches at the WWE Performance Center and is one of the few universally respected people within wrestling.

Next: the quiet rebel that wasn’t that quiet.

[tps_title] INTJ: CM Punk[/tps_title]

(Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging)

CM Punk was an innovative and independent trailblazer who was always looking to push the envelope and to do things his way. Like the self-starting INTJ, he was always thinking a few steps ahead – and doing whatever he had to get what he wanted. Of course, Punk’s problems with communication ultimately led to his demise in WWE.

This next guy invented and still plays The Game.

[tps_title]ENTJ: Triple H[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging)

He’s called “The Game” for a reason: Triple H is a planner and a leader. From DX to Evolution to NXT, Triple H has a vision and is going to be leading WWE well into the foreseeable future. His ambition is legendary. He has a long-term plan for WWE and is well on his way to execute it.

Up next, let’s look at The Champ.

[tps_title]ENFP: John Cena [/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving)

He’s enthusiastic. He’s creative. He is always looking for a new challenge. He can deliver a convincing and powerful speech at the drop of a hat. Record-setting champion John Cena is the obvious choice for ENFP: He sees potential in others and is always willing to help the next guy step-up to the plate and get their chance.

This next wrestler is a one-of-a-kind unifier — and has a heart of pure gold

[tps_title] INFP: Daniel Bryan[/tps_title]

(Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving)

He’s positive and he’s enthusiastic. He doesn’t give up easily. D-Bry is the kind of guy who puts his head down and goes after his dreams. Not only that but like the caring INFP he’s sensitive to the needs of others (and the environment!) and the perfect embodiment of the “underdog.” His creativity in the ring is part of what made him such a huge indie star.

The next MTBI type is called “The Architect,” so there’s really only one perfect pick.

[tps_title] INTP: Seth Rollins[/tps_title]

(Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving)

The man who built The Shield. Like the perceptive INTP, Seth Rollins is logical, precise, and imaginative. It took a lot of introspection and original thought to build up the greatest faction in WWE history – only to tear it all the down the second a better offer came into play.

Up next, this type invents and plays by their own rules.

[tps_title] ENTP: The Young Bucks[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving)

ENTPs make their own fortune — just like Matt and Nick Jackson. The Young Bucks did it all without the big juggernaut of WWE behind them. You see their “Bullet Club” shirts everywhere. The Bucks are an absolute marketing machine and great wrestlers to boot. They’ve innovated what it means to be a professional wrestler on the independent circuit.

The next category is for the “performers” — “the show-offs”

[tps_title]ESFP: Dolph Ziggler[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving)

Of course, Dolph Ziggler represents ESFP: He’s the show-off! He’s playful and friendly (some of the time, anyway). He puts on a great show and can certainly be spontaneous and wild when he needs to be. He loves to be the life of the party and the life of the ring!

The most subtle, but the absolute best in-ring worker of ALL time is next.

[tps_title]ISFP: Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat[/tps_title]

(Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving)

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat put on incredible and well-choreographed matches throughout his entire career, making him a composer of the squared circle. His trilogy with Ric Flair is considered by many to be the best of all time. He also had an amazing Wrestlemania match against Randy Savage. He innovated technical and high-flying wrestling when the sport was all hulking brutes and force.

This next guy was the master of behind-the-scenes work.

[tps_title]ISTP: Vince McMahon Sr.[/tps_title]

(Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving)

The ultimate behind-the-scenes guy. Vince McMahon Sr. positively mastered the business aspect of professional wrestling. He was an action-oriented and analytical guy who wasn’t afraid to mix it up big time. He understood the wrestling business better than anyone and set the groundwork for his son to take WWF to the next level.

This next category is the master planner who also oozes charisma.

[tps_title]ESTP: The Rock[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving)

The Rock is the most outgoing and action-oriented wrestler of all time, making him an obvious pick for ESTP. He dominated WWE and is now dominating Hollywood. As for a skillful negotiator? He is the highest-paid star in Hollywood for a reason. He knows how to take and is driven to get his way!

Our next wrestler will always put a smile on your face!

[tps_title]ESFJ: Bayley[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Sensing, Intuitive, Judging)

Who is more friendly and outgoing than Bayley? Which wrestler is more willing to help and please others? Like the ESFJ, “The Hugger” is the ultimate people-pleaser. She’s caring and always willing to go out of her way to help out Sasha Banks or one of her numerous other friends.

The ultimate little guy is up next!

[tps_title]ISFJ: Rey Mysterio [/tps_title]

(Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging)

A devoted and caring man, Rey Mysterio overcame his perceived (literal) shortcomings to become one of the best wrestlers of our time. Like the ISFJ, Mysterio is a defender of the downtrodden and not afraid to stand up to bullies. He helped so many smaller wrestlers make their way to the squared circle.

A true in-ring master exemplifies this next category.

[tps_title] ISTJ: Dean Malenko[/tps_title]

(Introvert, Sensing, Thinking, Judging)

A reserved and masterful tactician in the ring, Dean Malenko, the “Man of a 1,000 Holds,” could always be counted on to put together a great match. He shined in WCW as a part of their cruiserweight division. His mastery of holds and submissions paved the way for a lot of other technical masters, including 205 Live’s Drew Gulak. Like the ISTJ, he was reliable and solid always.

Up next: This man is the reason you’re watching wrestling.

[tps_title]ESTJ: Vince McMahon[/tps_title]

(Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging)

While technically not a wrestler (that would be the villainous Mr. McMahon), Vince Mcmahon fits the mold for the ESTJ, or the “supervisors.” He’s a ruthlessly hard worker and tactician who emerged from a highly competitive business as the top dog — and a billionaire to boot! Of course, he runs the show his way, and he wouldn’t HAVE it any other way. Vince is also a notorious perfectionist and control freak.

There you have it: the perfect WWE wrestler/wrestling legend and star for every Myers-Briggs type!
