It may be a bit of a spoiler, but ROH gets 2 new authority figures.
I say spoilers ahead, because, well, they are.
ROH did some filming recently in Florida for upcoming television shows, and during the tapings, some interesting developments came up.
Specifically…
ROH Gets 2 New Authority Figures
Now, these are your typical on-air authority figures. All true decision making capabilities still fall to Ring of Honor’s owner, Tony Khan.
So who are these 2 figures?
The two named to the ROH Board of Directors are names that should be familiar to many wrestling fans.
Stokely Hathaway and Jerry Lynn were both revealed, as confirmed via Fightful, to be on this new ROH Board.

Hathaway has spent plenty of time in Ring of Honor, as well as a stint in WWE before he landed with AEW as the leader of The Firm.
Hathaway has been off television for about a month, but will be making his return as part of the on-air leadership for Ring of Honor.
One of those other seats will be occupied by Jerry Lynn, who’s worked around the globe on the independent scene for forever.
I personally watched him in ECW, and the man is probably one of the more under-appreciated talents of his generation.
Now, he will get to flex his muscle in an on-air, but not in-ring, fashion.
Of the two, most fans are probably more familiar with, and more excited about, Stokely Hathaway.

But, with the company gaining these two new characters, if you will, it does help keep things interesting.
Plus, it gives them both a new way to be involved and make an impact on the product.
What remains to be seen is whether Tony Khan will keep the ROH Board limited to just two seats, or if he will creatively add additional faces to the board as he sees fit.
Or, as it makes sense for a particular storyline.
